Churches Together in Carlisle news
We promote their info as and when we come across it. We have not been on their mailing list since around about the time we began to speak out against the occult associations of Carlisle’s Millennium Project. Others have also spoken out, such as Bishop John Brewer (RIP), Bishop Graham Dow, Rev’d Kevin Davies,. Rev’d Irteon, Councillor Jim Tootle and many other Christians.

Radio Cumbria -
Radio Cumbria has a Sunday Morning Breakfast Show and you can listen to it ‘again’ on any day. It is better than nothing, but it does (in my opinion) fawn towards the establishment, illiberal liberalism and the prejudices of those who produce it. Thankfully the true liberals will not be offended by my observation?!!!**cough, splutter.

Idea! If there is an ecumenical ‘Church’ in Cumbria how come there is a Catholic paper called The Voice and an Anglican paper called The Way and a little voice showing the way in Bound Together, but most Christians read neither? Their are also various ‘evangelical’ leaders back patting clubs, but why do they not have a united voice?
The saints who run Cumbria’s Christian community could produce a combined newsheet, or the ‘ecumenicals’ could have their’s and the ‘evangelicals’ could have theirs.
They could produce their splendid celebrations of their activities, news and views to glorify their God, but isn’t happening because no matter how ‘ecumenical’ they pretend to be, their first priority is their particular church, their particular denomination, their particular organisation, their particular business and it often comes down to pounds, shillings and pence, in their end. However, self righteous, theological dogma also underpins many peoples behaviour and it also undermines any hope of ecumenism in Christ.
The sad truth is that they also know that most of their ‘flocks’ could not care less about ‘ecumenism’ other than it might sound like a good idea as long as it doesn’t require any effort, or financial struggle.
The sadder truth is that most church attenders couldn’t care less, because after 2,000 years of religious lunacy and their own personal prejudiced indoctrination by indoctrinated bigots, they are not equipped spiritually, to discern the difference between Jesus and religion, or love and self righteousness. It is not their fault.
